Joy, bravura, and humor continue into the second solo section of Haydn’s C Major Concerto (mvt. I), soon after where I left off in last week’s masterclass. We reach a stormy section that sounds very much like Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, and remain in the minor key until the next ritornello and charming return.
Please let me know if you have any comments and/or questions, I would love to hear from you. Thank you for watching!!
This is a beautiful rendition of Haydn’s Violin Concerto in C Major. In many ways similar to the Cello Concerto in C Major: https://open.spotify.com/track/5zRrsnGkWE6QDITKUdMsA4?si=_Ao_vlIdTvapkpnkefiGuQ
